With over one million CUBE amps sold and going strong, Roland continues to push the envelope with innovative amp technology and design. The latest addition to the top-selling CUBE amp family is the CUBE-XL series. Small and lethal, the 20XL is an affordable yet powerful new member of the XL family. The CUBE-20XL delivers 20 watts of output through a high-performance 8" custom speaker. Its compact size is perfect for at-home practice and band rehearsals alike, and is conveniently portable. There are two discrete channels, JC Clean and Lead, plus Solo mode for extra boost. Six BOSS Lead types are provided, including the new Extreme. Nine effects are onboard, including Heavy Octave, COSM vintage Spring Reverb, and Power Squeezer for full gain at low volume. An Aux Input allows portable music players to be connected for jam-along fun, while the onboard Tuning Fork lets you tune your guitar without unplugging.

CUBE-20XL Features
Dual Channels: The CUBE-20XL features two switchable channels: JC Clean and Lead . The Lead channel offers six COSM-powered options, including Overdrive , Distortion , Metal , Metal Stack , Acoustic Simulator , and the new Extreme . The JC Clean channel delivers pure, transparent tone. Channel switching is possible via the amp's top panel or an optional footswitch (BOSS FS series, sold separately).
Pro Effects: The CUBE-20XL includes a variety of six high-quality digital effects: Chorus , Flanger , Phaser , Tremolo , Heavy Octave , plus independent Delay and COSM Spring Reverb . A footswitch (optional) can be used to switch the effects on/off hands-free.
Tuner and Aux Input: The built-in tuner allows tuning while the guitar is connected. It offers both Manual and Chromatic tuning modes. The Tuning Fork function emits a reference pitch for audible tuning. The Aux Input lets you plug in a portable music player to jam along with your favorite tracks.
COSM Technology: COSM (Composite Object Sound Modeling) is Roland’s advanced technology that models the electrical and physical characteristics of the original sound, creating a digital model that reproduces the same tone. Roland analyzed world-class amps and effects to deliver a versatile and authentic tone palette in the CUBE-XL series.
